Please join us on our favorite NO WIMPS HIKE. Our goal is to go to all four waterfalls this time out. So come prepared. We will take our time on the way out enjoying the wild flowers and majestic views of the Matilija Canyon. There are lots of swimming holes on the trail so we will be able to jump in and cool off as needed along the way. Here is a brief description of the trail. This hike is approx. 9 miles total. The trail follows the beautiful Matilija Creek. There are times when you are rock hopping over very HOT rocks this time of year. This is why we ask that you don’t bring Dogs or Kids. (more…)
